1. Introduction

Welcome to CCSapp ("the Service"), a digital platform designed for Irish Community Pharmacies to support the delivery of the HSE Common Conditions Service. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CCSapp.

By accessing or using CCSapp, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

2. Eligibility

CCSapp is available only to:

  • Registered pharmacists with a valid PSI (Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland) registration
  • Community pharmacies in Ireland contracted to provide the HSE Common Conditions Service
  • Authorised pharmacy staff acting under the supervision of a registered pharmacist

You represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements when creating an account or using the Service.

3. Clinical Decision Support – Important Disclaimer

CLINICAL DECISION SUPPORT TOOL ONLY

CCSapp is a clinical decision support tool designed to assist pharmacists in delivering the HSE Common Conditions Service. It is not a substitute for professional clinical judgment.

The pharmacist retains full clinical responsibility for all consultations, treatment decisions, and patient care. CCSapp provides structured workflows and information to support your decision-making, but the ultimate responsibility for clinical decisions rests with the registered pharmacist.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • CCSapp does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations
  • All clinical decisions must be made by a qualified, registered pharmacist
  • You must independently verify all clinical information and exercise professional judgment
  • CCSapp is not liable for any clinical outcomes resulting from your use of the Service
  • You must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards

If in doubt about any clinical matter, you should refer the patient to an appropriate healthcare provider.

4. User Accounts

To use CCSapp, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access

We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) to protect your account and patient data.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use CCSapp only for its intended purpose: supporting the delivery of the HSE Common Conditions Service. You must not:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service

  • Copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without permission

6. Data Protection

CCSapp processes personal data in accordance with GDPR and Irish data protection law. Your pharmacy remains the Data Controller for patient data. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we handle data.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Data retention following termination is governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
